Denver Riddell can be considered as a multi-genre artist. He began his musical journey in the genre of rock and has fused hip-hop and jazz within his stylings. The 27-year-old from Georgina, Ontario, started to develop his career in music at 18 years old. 2 years beforehand, he began to express his emotions through poetry, which later turned into songs. Currently, Denver aspires to make children's music. “ I heard ‘Baby Shark’ when it was first released and immediately thought, ‘I can do better than that!’ So, I would like to make children’s music in the near future.” Denver touched upon the experiences he's had within the genres of rock and hip-hop, stating that he still actively plays rock music and is heavily influenced by Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix. “Hendrix is my biggest influence. I love how innovative he was, and I am very inspired by his showmanship. I tend to act as if I am Hendrix when I'm on stage. One time, I put the guitar behind my head and played it backwards, people loved it. I've tried playing it with my teeth, but it doesn't have that same sound, I'm learning how to play it with my tongue!”

Denver explained how he wanted to separate his rock music from his hip-hop music, though he is currently experimenting with hip-hop and jazz. “Some of my other inspirations are Eminem and Big L, I can't forget Big L... I find that hip-hop suits my vocals better, it's much easier for me to rap than to sing normally.” Denver is currently working as an artist with HighCut Records through the Music Business program at Durham College. He grew confidence when discussing his aspirations for the new year and what he aspires to achieve with HighCut Records. “I'm really looking forward to the studio time. I intend to put an equal amount of time in the studio as I am paying for tuition. That equals out to a couple 100 hours per month. I'm excited to work with the innovative producers that the Music Business program has, and to release new music by the end of the month. I'm hoping to release at least one song by the end of the month.” Ecstatically, he stated that he is hoping to release an album by Spring of 2023.

Currently, Denver is writing a hip-hop song about the war in Ukraine. Much of his energy has been focused on his up-and-coming musical works, and improvisations while in the music studio at Durham College. Denver’s music can be found on his social media platforms, YouTube, and Instagram. He continues to actively work within the studio and writing new music, which will soon be available on all digital music platforms.
